BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS Saturday, 9/30/23, at 1:00pm
In celebration of the Feast Day of St. Francis
This year we celebrate the Feast Day of St. Francis with a Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, September 30, at 1 pm. You are invited to bring your animal friends for a special blessing during a short service of music* and prayer. After the service, we’ll have special activities and refreshments for kids of all ages. Please join us to celebrate with or without an animal friend!
*at least one musical dog has been known to “sing” along!
Friends and neighbors are invited!
There will be a moment of remembrance for past beloved pets
Bring donations of pet food for the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry
No pet? Bring a special plushie! Or just come for fun!
Nervous pet? Bring a photo or toy to be blessed.
For safety, please keep dogs on leash, and keep other pets in carriers.
